Fish is healthier than meat especially for those on diet. It has less saturated fats than meat. Everyone wants to eat the good things and still keep it low on the extra pounds. Below are some healthy ways to cook fish, that will taste yummy but have low calories.
Wash fish and rub with mashed herbs, garlic, chilly to infuse flavors as it cooks. Place on grill and allow to roast and serve as the West African style with grilled or fried plantains/potatoes, along side some chilly cream, garnished with parsley and celery leaves; chopped carrots, green, red and yellow peppers.
Cut a fish of any size and choice. Blend 1 large tomatoes and garlic and boil for a few minutes. Add fish and cook for an additional 10 minutes until tender. Put in some ground pepper, salt and maggi (soy sauce) to taste. Let it boil for another 30-60 seconds. Now add your chopped herbs like thyme leaves and serve hot.
This recipe just requires some more tomatoes and fish than the fish soup and the stew is a lot more thicker than the soup. Thus boil ground tomatoes until its almost dry but not burnt.without water. Put in a few drops of vegetable oil, fish and garlic. Also put in some chopped red and yellow peppers, parsley and other herbs as you wish for flavoring, as well as some maggi (soy sauce), salt and pepper. Add a bit of water and allow to boil for about 20 minutes if the fish was not fried. If the fish was fried, after putting in your spice, allow to boil cook for 60 seconds.
