DIY Smoothie for a Quick Relief of Constipation

A DIY smoothie can be all you need to ease off that discomfort in your tummy. Constipation is not a disease but a red flag to poor eating habits due to the consumption of over processed foods or poor mixtures with insufficient fiber and live nutrients to produce the enzymes necessary for digestion. With this magic smoothie from a combination of high fiber foods/fruits, that poop will be begging for a release in no time.

Combine these ingredients in a blender. Drink right away and drink immediately it is done. I bet you will be smiling by time you are through with it.

  • 1 lemon
  • 1 cucumber
  • 1 cup of crushed ice
  • 2 carrots
  • 2 celery stalks
  • 2 tablespoons aloe vera juice

Put the ice in the blender first, followed by the other ingredients and blend well.

Constipation is a common condition of characterized by bloating, indigestion and infrequent bowel movement due to dry fecal matter in the colon. Bowel movements should be as frequent as you have meals.
